"The bible says that God gave gifts to men in Ephesians, but the Greek transliteration actually reads “God gave men as gifts”. I hadn’t thought too much about this when I first saw it, but it struck me. You see, everything in you was sown into you - your enthusiasm, your curiosity, your humor, your interest in people. God didn’t just prepare a life for you. He prepared You for a life. So everything good you see in yourself, every knack, skill, talent or gift, is there for manifestation at an appointed time. Everything He does, He does for a reason. With Him, nothing goes to waste, nothing is mistaken or misplaced. The deeper you look into what He does, the more specificity you’ll find. As you’ve given yourself and continue to give yourself over to Him, He will use you up, I guarantee it. It’s a good thing to be able to reach that finish line, completely exhausted of all resources - why else would you welcome an eternal rest? :) He came to give you life, and life more abundantly. He is fullness, and you will be full with everything He uses you to do (Ps 81:10)."
"Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside them they’ve all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe."
my dad basically says your early 20’s are when you’re too young for anyone to take you seriously and you’re too old for anyone to feel sorry for you and he is 100% right
